Luggage Outlet Mississauga

ESC 2009 (second half, Israel and Great Britain)

Israel, Noa & Mira Awad - There Must Be Another Way
I admit, I'm not a big fan of Israeli papers. According bad I find this Israeli-Palestinian duet also likely if the two singers provide the technical aspect of a tidy appearance. But eternal love-peace song on medium speed, that Israel has in the past 10 years sent at least eight times for the song contest bothers some point.

Latvia: Intars Busulis - Probka
"Latvia" was not really always been with me as a seal of quality from Eurovision Song Contest contributions this year. This rock song is too soft for Heavy Metal, too loud for mainstream rock and too hectic for repeated listening. Furthermore, one sings in Russian Latvia suddenly, which improves the matter as everything else.

Lithuania, Sasha Son - Love
My goodness! Whenever you think it could not get worse, is Lithuania. This year's failure of concept of the Baltic is a combination of the eternal love-peace-song (Israel), the animal-child bonus (Albania) and unintelligible English (Belarus). The concept is to rise, Sasha Son does not occur again on Saturday.

Malta: Chiara - What if we
there it is again, the fat woman from Malta. You remain faithful to their style and brings a power ballad with Moscow. That it is no great choreography in a position to show great stage presence, we know from the years 1998 and 2005. I believe that they can achieve in 2009 a similar result to that time, could therefore be found in the top 10 again.

Moldova: Nelly Ciobanu - Hora din Moldova
right this wrong. Moldova tried it with terrible overtightened folklore, singer Nelly and her background singers shouting down each other and the terribly cheerful dancers between them look like a toothpaste advertisement. Cruel, but in low competition due to mutual aid may still capable final.

Montenegro: Andrea Demirovic - Just get out of my Life
if women Demirovic it gets out that you understand their English on stage, this song has potential. And if you wonder why you think the whole 3 minutes that you've heard this song before, but you should just look around, from whom comes the song. Text: Bernd Meinunger (with José Juan Santana Rodriguez), music: Ralph Siegel!

Netherlands: The Toppers - Shine
account for some reason, these three gentlemen, I fear. In their silver suits and the "getting used to" hairstyles, they look as if Flippers is just a cover band of a chance in the neighboring buildings held coffee journey taken away and given them a very gruesome € Vision-pop song from the gloomy eighties. Fortunately, not determined in the final.

Norway: Alexander Rybak - Fairytale
Alexander is 23, looks a lot younger and has all the prerequisites to get the "Schnuckelchen" Award 2009. Moreover, he not only sings but also plays violin on stage and could do with his nice song to listen to again bring Norway into the final.

Poland: Lidia Kopania - I do not want to leave
a very heavy piano ballad sent to eastern Poland Neighboring country. You can say anything against Mrs. Kopanias voice, and her English is to be understood properly, but still missing the whole show is a real highlight. It is all very gray, so dress as Mrs Kopanias the preliminary decision or the midfield place, which will end come of it.

Portugal: Flor de Lis - Todas as ruas de Amor
traditional whole reveals Portugal this year and does not need but really once belonged to the other as often and almost always unsuccessful Fado. Nice song, but as always with Portuguese contributions have a few problems to qualify for the final.

Romania: Elena - The Balkan Girls
as well that you can rely on Romania. A category that was otherwise missing each year for this, yet still completely: the inevitable porn site. But what could one expect in this song title suggests otherwise? Very hard, very annoying, but very likely in the final.

Russia: Anastasia Prikhodko - Mamo
in Russia there are no Singers more? Or how do you explain that that takes up with a Ukrainian Anastasia Prikhodko for Russia? The sung in Russian and Ukrainian song is nice and because of the weak competition definitely a winning candidate.

Serbia: Marko Kon & Milaan - Cipela
a Comedy number from Serbia! About this song I will think no more need, and I think that this can not be. What completely in Serbian and is positive because of his music, so could again reach for the top ten.

Slovakia: Kamil Mikulčík & Nela Pocisková - Let 'tmou
after years of abstinence is Slovakia for the first time there and has not noticed that the song contest has changed. The very typical ballad-Eastern Europe had in the nineties, when Slovakia was last here, might have had opportunities, enough of this year, perhaps for a midfield place in the semifinals, but even that only with luck.

Slovenia: Quartissimo feat. Martina - Love Symphony
a Slovenian string quartet plus a Croatian singer, classical music mixed with pop elements. However, the song is not quite ignites, which in combination with the low standing of Slovenia could once again cause you can treat yourself to a free Saturday.

Spain: Soraya - La Noche Para Mi it
Spain Soraya sings in English and English, combines Scandinavian dance sounds with a touch of Eastern and Latin Pop. The otherwise catchy and could ensure that Spain on the "big four" best cuts.

Sweden: Malena Ernman - La Voix
and again it says "Classic meets pop", this time, but musically and vocally Pop Opera. Malena Ernman has many years experience of opera and sees it as their biggest problem is that they have to sing instead of three hours without a micro-micro now has three minutes. Compared to the rather mediocre contributions, which Sweden has delivered in recent years, this is definitely an improvement. Probably will not win, but is expected to place well.

Switzerland: Lovebugs - The Highest Heights
very sovereign rock song from a band with 15 years experience. Has next to the post from Estonia great opportunities out my personal number one this year to be. I would be surprised if Switzerland this year should not appear again in the final

Turkey: Hadise - Dum Tek Tek
Oriental pop from Turkey is nothing new. The singer dressed it lightly, there's nothing new. That despite the Turkish title is a complete English-language song with which she tries Turkey, is nothing new. And that they are coming in the top half of the finale, is nothing new. Nice song, but eventually become boring.

Ukraine: Svetlana Loboda - Be my Valentine!
Pornoauftritt Nummer zwei. Außerdem schreit Frau Loboda ganz furchtbar ins Mikro. Da bleibt uns nur zu hoffen, dass die zweimal 3 Minuten schnell herumgehen, denn ins Finale kommt die Ukraine trotz dieses nicht sehr ansprechenden Beitrags trotzdem.

Großbritannien: Jade Ewen - It's my Time
Schneidet sie gut ab, liegt es an Andrew Lloyd Webber, she met the high expectations, it is up to her.

Bight Volleyball Socks

ESC 2009 (first half, Albania and Ireland)

Eight weeks until the ESC 2009th I will now look at me once the first half of the participants only once / listen, read the background on the artists and then write my first impression of the contributions.

Albania Kejsi Tola - Carry Me in Your Dreams
The only interesting thing here is that Kejsi Tola is the youngest participant this year. Otherwise this is an unspectacular pop song.

Andorra: Susan George - La Teva Decisió
Would not this song in Catalan, one could hold him for the Swedish contribution. Standardpop number two. Susanne Georgi had in the nineties with her sister under the band name Me & My "a hit with" Dub-I-Dub ", the Danish-born but now lives in 13 years in Andorra.

Armenia: Inga & Anush - Jan Jan
One is a classically trained violinist, the other is trained jazz pianist. What could be more natural than to let the two Caucasian ethno-pop sing? Cruel, just cruel.

Azerbaijan: AySel & Arash - Always
nineteen year-old music student plus the Iran-born, living in Sweden, composer, Songwriter and producer (with Azerbaijan's ancestors) plus good-mood-claim little love song = success? We will see.

Belarus: Petr Elfimov - Eyes that never lie
the first rock song, but: we are talking about Belarus, that in itself is of lesser quality. And this low quality is thus reduced even further, that Elfimov sings in English without it can, by the way looks like Dieter Thomas Kuhn and a white suit in the seventies-style with that is open to the navel. What is missing is the chest hair toupee ...

Belgium: Copycat - Copycat
Elvis lives! In any case, it is a fun rockabilly song that directly goes into the legs. But still you always have the feeling that one has heard before - and that's exactly what Patrick Ouchene alias Copycat purpose and what could help him.

Bosnia-Herzegovina: Regina - Bistra Voda
No, Regina is not a singer but a band of four boys. Similarly confusing as this fact is also the contribution that combines the typical heavy Balkan ballad with a march rhythm. And even if the look fits the song so that is by no means a good result for the last quite spoiled Bosnians.

Bulgaria: Krassimir Avramov - Illusion
Slovenia was two years ago with a Blend of opera and dance by his standards successfully and now you try this in Bulgaria sometimes. Only has Krassimir Avramov not the quality of Alenka Gotar and tried it also in English - and he can just as the White Russian. A final participation would be a huge surprise.

Croatia: Igor Cukrov feat. Andrea - Liepa Tena
and the next Balkan ballad, this time completely in style from a mixed duet and (if one starts from the preliminary round), even with rhythmic gymnastics in the background. Croatia aims with great perfection aim to get points from the neighbors, but otherwise disappear in the gray middle of the finale.

Cyprus: Christina Metaxa - Firefly
Cyprus tried it with a rock ballad, which is quite nice to listen. Unfortunately this is not enough even more than the usual 12 points from Greece and perhaps a small animal children's bonus for the seventeen year-old Christina.

Czech Republic: Gipsy.cz - Aven Romale
the first comedy act and immediately a rather wild. Four traditional musicians and in addition a rapper who was put in a skin tight red suit and that includes a matching cape with. Unfortunately, his English is not understood, but what could be called before the "Gipsy" background or as appropriate.

Denmark: Brinck - Believe Again
is one of Denmark had been used to really high-quality pop, and since making this year's review totally no exception. In addition, the Danes have managed to get a very prominent and experienced writers and composers to the team: Ronan Keating! Why he did such a promising song in Denmark takes place at home in Ireland, you want to please explain to me again.

Estonia: Urban Symphony - Rändajad
hach ... garnished the whole thing in Estonian and electro beats, two cellists, two violinists (one of which is also the lead singer) and two background singers. For those who are here on the contributions feeling of Neiokösö (2004) or Urban Trad (2003) recalls, may be right - and who knows my opinion about these two bands can also imagine what I think of these ladies here.

Finland: Waldo's People - Lose Control
Finland has so far had success with the ESC twice: with Hard Rock and Heavy Metal Lordi from Teräsbetöni. So what you send out this year? Clearly, Dance-pop fresh from the tip of the Scandinavian club charts. Sounds very exciting and likely to remain in the finals will again.

France: Patricia Kaas - Et s'il fallait le faire
wow. The great Patricia Kaas occurs for France with a very classic song from. For the "old" fans like me * g *, for example, of course a special treat, whether France, however, can back with such nostalgia points from Eastern or Southeastern Europe, I doubt it.

Macedonia: Next Time - Neshto Shto Ke Ostan
quite straightforward rock sounds from Skopje, Macedonia's preliminary decision in the recording of very professional. Definitely has potential to reach the finals and be better to cut than Bosnia and Croatia.

Germany: Alex Swings, Oscar Sings! - Miss Kiss Kiss Bang
and we had so hoped someone would have the NDR from the embarrassment with Romanian voice cucumber named Roger Cicero learned something. But far from it: Now they send Alex Christensen with an American singer whom no one knew before, according to a further swing number Moscow. The result will also be getting worse rather than better.

Greece: Sakis Rouvas - This Is Our Night
Sakis Rouvas, the third-place finisher in 2004, is back. In contrast to "Shake it" is his this year's Song Sirtaki-heavy and less but more to arrange in the club scene. Here, too, should be a good place in the finals to be there.

Hungary: Adok Zoli - Dance with me
and even a club number, which is now rather less from Hungary expected to have especially as the song is completely in English. Zoli Adok should neither vocally nor dance have problems with his performance, he has more than 500 appearances 2004-2007 had in the musical "Fame" in Basel and "Cats" in Berlin and is currently the Levi AndrewLLoydWebbers "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat "in Hungary. Also in: Final of potential.

Iceland: Yohanna - Is it true?
ESC classic ballad, nothing exciting. Accordingly, the Icelandic low chance of a finals.

Ireland: Sinead Mulvey & Black Daisy - Et Cetera
Girl Rock from Ireland, also something new. Quite funny, if rather shallow little song, but after Dustin the turkey in the RTÉ officials probably realized that satire does not and you should prefer a simple, non-political send to Moscow.

This was the first half of the participants, the second half of Israel to the UK there tomorrow or the day after.
